Singer Debates Level 3 Communications Assistant Chief Legal Officer on Net Neutrality Panel in New York

Criterion President Hal Singer spoke at Capacity Magazine's 7th annual US Wholesale Telecommunications Congress on June 26. Singer participated in a panel entitled "Understanding Net Neutrality and the Potential Implications for Carriers and Service Providers Operating in the US Wholesale Telecoms Marketplace." The panel focused on such topics as 1) Defining net neutrality; what is it and what does it mean for wholesalers? 2) Assessing the different implications for net neutrality for different providers; content providers, ISPs, traditional carriers and alternative providers. 3) Implications of net neutrality on the future of the US wholesale market.
The other participants in the panel were John Ryan, Assistant Chief Legal Officer at Level 3 Communications and Dana Frix, a partner at Chadbourne & Parke. The two day conference starting on the 25th was held in New York City at the Grand Hyatt hotel.
