Sidak and Ingraham Release Study on the Negative Effects of Mandatory Unbundling at TELRIC Prices

A working paper released by Greg Sidak of the American Enterprise Institute and Criterion Economics, L.L.C. and Allan T. Ingraham of Criterion Auctions, L.L.C. studies the effect of mandatory unbundling at TELRIC prices on incumbent exchange carriers. The authors determine that mandatory unbundling increases incumbent exchange carriers' equity costs and deters telecommunications investment.
